Material Introduction
High temperature glass fiber composite sheet is a composite material which is made by glass fiber and high mechanical strength resin. It owns excellent electrical, thermal and chemical properties. It can keep its mechanical strength, smoothness and original color when continuously used under the temperature of 280°C (max. working temperature below 385 degree 10~20sec).

In addition, it has the advantages of easily machining, high intensity and can be easily machined into special mechanical parts. Its flexure modulus is 20000psi and it can keep its flexure modulus for 15000 psi when the energy and heat is rising. DHS8100, DAS8150, DOS8500 is not suitable for halogen containing flux. Therefore, we recommend flux retardant grade DFR8580 which belongs to ORM1 or ORH1R flux. DFR8580 is specially designed to solve this problem and it also solves the problems of no corrosive flux in the high temperature and short life span of fixture.

The resin of DFR8580 can bear higher temperature than other three types. The continuous temperature can be 300°C and the temperature in short term can be 380°C. DFR8580 has excellent flux retardant properties. When the temperature of solder bath is more than 260°C and the extensive use of flux contains the flux of halide or dicarboxylic acid, we recommend to use DFR8580.
